Winter in Jeju-do.

Here come another post.
It's Winter in Jeju-do.

Just so you know, this is my second trip to Jeju-do, you may found that the main tourist spots are not in our itinerary because we've visited it before.
Enjoy!

Let me summarise my trip,

a) Day 2 - Jeju City Bus, 10,000 won per day
     to  Sarabong Peak,

#hereinTapdongsquare

Tapdong Square,
Suspension bridge, Yongduam Rock, Iho Taewoo beach

b) Day 3 - Udo Island 💖 , Jeju City Hall

c) Day 4 - Jeolmul Forest Park, Dongmun market, Jungang Underground shopping mall

Day 2 ❤
This was taken at top of Sarabong Peak! Quiet an exercise for my morning walks. All that steps are killing me.

Somewhere at Coastal road before Iho Taewoo beach.

Iho Taewoo beach.

Jeju Golden City bus is a package where it stop at all tourist attraction located in city.

The bus routes start at Jeju International airport, wait for the bus at Gate 2
It's quite nice tour where you are free to stop at any destination and take the same bus again to other destination. We decided to take the tour bus to get familiarize with Jeju bus system and touring the city on our own is so much fun too.
Important to note that this bus only stop at specific bus station, it's easier you take the next bus at the station you alighted before. Otherwise it's quite a mess to find the next bus station -like we did- hahaha..
Cause we decided to walk from Tapdong Square to suspension bridge and Yongduam Rock.
*Good luck finding the next stop!*

#don't have much picture to upload since I took a lot of it in live mode - when transfer to laptop it on video format - grrr

I would say that bus system in Jeju-do is so practical, it just like train system but in buses mode.
It's easy once you get to understand. That's what we did!
Every bus starts from the airport - airport is like their other bus terminal.

Day 3❤

We decided to visit U-do

From Airport we took bus routes 110-1 bound to Seongsanpo Harbor (last stop), It's an hour journey from airport.
take ferry at the terminal (bring your passport too!) for ticketing purpose.
At U-do we just get on shuttle bus from one place to another.
Note that last bus in U-do is on 4pm and last ferry is on 5pm!

Ferry to U-do takes around 15 minutes journey.

Lunch plate!
Price 15,000 won per person. The above is serving for two, so total 30,000 won - set comes with side dishes kimchi etc.

Seobinbeksa Beach.

Little U-do is a mini version of Jeju, where you can leisurely wonder around the

Day 4 ❤

 Jeolmul Forest Park
Gate 3 at airport take bus no. 343-1 or 343-2 bound to Jeolmul Forest Park (1 hour trip too!)

Lets do this. Ga-ja!

Here are some of my personal notes on this trip:

 Shopping Tips!

Where do you shop in Jeju?
1) Jeju City Hall - not so sure about clothing but there a lots of skincare and make up shops there.

2) Duty free - Shilla Duty Free alight at Jewon Apartment bus station - it's just across the road of the station!

3) Dongmun Market - It's a huge market - from fresh hallabong, to fresh seafoods - salmon etc, chocolates and souvenirs too!

This is one of it entrance. It's just located opposite Dongmun Rotary bus station,

Our lunch at Dongmun open foodcourt (don't ask me how to get there), we were lucky enough to find because it's quite hidden in the middle of the market.
Couldn't remember how much each dishes cost but total we spend is 34,000 won for lunch! The seafood soup is super refreshing. It was cold outside so it helps us to warm up too.

Jungang Underground Mall

- there's so many skincare and makeup shop from Nature republic to Missha, CLEO, too cool for school, skin foods, face shop and many more! and there's also some cool t-shirt to shop too.

From Jungang Underground you can easily access to some other places from different Exit, for example to Tapdong Square from Exit 5, Dongmun Market Exit 2, Jungangro Shopping Centre Exit 8.

AND ❤
don't forget to buy Banana Uyu and strawberry uyu too! only 1300 won, you can get this at any conveniences store like G25.
