Travelling Tips - Krabi 2015

As a blogger, I normally search for any travel information from other blogger traveling blogs which I found very useful. We can read it through their experience how good or interesting those places that they had visited.

So I am trying my best to spend some time to share some tips and useful info that might help any other travelers out there.

Krabi, March 2015

Tips No. 1 - Where to stay?

I suggest book yourself some hostel or hotel nearby Ao Nang Beach, you can do your shopping and enjoy the scenery along the beach any time you prefer. As for me I have booked my self a stay at Icheckinn hotel. It's situated 5 minutes walk to Ao Nang beach and just behind 7 Eleven. There are a lot food stalls all along the road nearby. So food won't any problems even to Muslim travelers.

Among others hotel available nearby I-check inn.

Food stalls along the road nearby the hotel.

Tips No. 2 - What to do and where to go?
Not to worry to much on your itinerary, there are a lots of tour packages and activities offers at Ao Nang beach. Just choose any. Don't forget to bargain and ask for better price. We got our Phi Phi Island tour for one day at 1200 baht. For the second day we manage to get another deal to visit just emerald pool, hot spring and elephant ride at 800baht. Normally they have this together with tiger temple at 1800baht if I'm not mistaken. So we figure we don't think we be able to do all one day activities even though it ended on 4pm :p

Tips No. 3 - Transportation
From airport I suggest you can always take the shuttle bus to your hotel. The moment you walk out the departure area you will see the shuttle bus point on your right. The bus will take you to your hotel, maybe not to the door but nearby for my case they stop at the junction. So we walk for 500m in further, not far.
The shuttle bus cost is only 150baht per person. Normally taxi will cost you around 600baht. Make your choice :)

Tips No. 4 - Krabi Night Market
It's not as big as I thought but worth to go. So many local foods offer, so make sure you come with an empty stomach. From Ao Nang Beach, just take any package offer normally at 200baht return transportation. They dropped us a the night market at 7pm and will pick us up at 9pm. Trust me, 2hours is long enough for you to shop and dine :)

I hope these would help. Enjoy reading :))

I agree with you! The first thing to do is to plan ahead of time, especially on where to stay. There are some hotels that are located conveniently close to tourist spots, food bazaars, and transportation. If you could find a place like those to stay in, then your getaway will be a much more fun experience. Thanks for sharing with us!
